1. Possibly the most important thing to pack.
Do you know about Aromaflage? This innovative company combines fragrance with function to go a step further! Pictured above, these beautiful all-natural scents either keep mosquitos away or help you sleep at night:  Aromaflage and Aromaflage Sleep. 2 things we all need on vacation, right?

2. Pack 3-4 colors only.
Stick to a travel wardrobe limited to 3-4 colors to simplify packing choices and help you look instantly more pulled together. Base your colors on the one piece you'll be wearing with everything on the trip like your tote bag or scarf.

3. Lay it all out.
Lay out everything you plan on taking before you pack to see what goes with what and make sure it all works. This allows for a tight edit and a chance to eliminate a few unnecessary things :)

4. Roll vs. fold.
When packing, always roll clothing vs. folding. Items will take up less space AND be less wrinkled when you unpack them. Dry cleaners plastic makes an excellent cushion in bags to help eliminate wrinkles.

5. Always take this.
Our top pick for most important clothing item to travel with? A large soft wrap that can be used for everything from a blanket to a sarong to a sexy strapless dress.

6. Limit your shoes.
Shoes are heavy and take up space so try to bring just 3 pairs. For summer, 2 pairs of sandals (1 flat and 1 with heels) and a pair of sneakers should do it. And those plastic shower caps you've been collecting? Use them to cover the soles of your shoes before you pack them to ensure that other items stay pristine.

7. Shoe bags.
Shoe bags (the ones that come with new shoes) are perfect for separating the things you are taking to make finding them and also repacking them easier. Store underwear, jewelry, delicates, swimwear, scarves, etc. in different bags within your luggage.

8. Jewelry packing ideas.
Use plastic straws to put your necklaces through before packing to keep them untangled and protected. You can also use old eyeglass cases to store jewelry, cords, and chargers.

9. Mini-containers.
Contact lens cases make great mini containers for small amounts of moisturizer, concealer, and serums. And of course, traveling on vacation is the time to use up all of the great skin care and cosmetic samples we've been collecting all year!

10. More bags.
Don't forget to travel with a range of different size bags for everything from storing dirty laundry to storing souvenirs. Why not use some of the hundreds of lightweight promotional totes we're all inundated with?

Bon voyage! Look great and have fun!
