That's a question you might not have thought about for a while. Or maybe you have because lately, you're not feeling that type anymore -- you're in a rut and need a change. You might ask, why even figure out your type, what's to gain? A few reasons come to mind -- to help you create a cohesive look, to make getting dressed much easier and to experience the power of always feeling your authentic put-together self.

Usually, we arrive at our personal style after early years of experimentation. It develops early on and is a factor of the many influences in our lives, like where we grew up, who our friends were and the decade we were born in. Of course, a huge influence is that of our mothers' (how fitting because of #mothersday). Our mother's style is usually one that we either embraced or rebelled against, sometimes setting us up with a life-long style type. Hello, boho daughter of classic traditional mom!
